Hotel-Café-Restaurant Parkhaus

The hotel is great.The staff very friendly.We arrived and the room was shown to us.We traveled with two adults and one child and got a "suite".So there was an extra bed for us parents.Our daughter had the front room with sofa bed and her own television.From there, even a balcony went off.Our bedroom had been very generous and modernly furnished with a large television.We also ate dinner there and it was very tasty, just like breakfast, which was very plentiful.We were asked for scrambled eggs and fried egg, which was served freshly prepared shortly afterwards.The lady from breakfast was also very friendly.

Unfortunately there were also a few criticisms.Unfortunately, the room door to the parents' bedroom always went out of the frame, but it could be directed and closed.The toilet was loose, that was a little uncomfortable.The wallpaper came off the wall in places in the parents' bedroom.We were only there for one night and didn't need a wardrobe, but if you stay longer, the tiny closet could really get really problems.Unfortunately, sockets are not near the bed either.

We had the "suite", that is, a living room, in it a sofa with a sleep function and a television plus balcony with a view of the middle of the village and the fountain, as well as the beautiful church of Altenau.In addition, our bedroom was located with too soft bed, a small narrow wardrobe and located on the main street (quite loud).On the one hand, the curtains on the windows were very permeable to light and no longer available on a window, so that you could look out of outside and the advertising light from the restaurant and the street lamps shone into the room.There was also only a few stations in it.The bathroom was ok so far but you couldn't look into the corners.The staircase was very steep and the steps was very small, lined with carpet so that you had to run down very carefully.The cloakroom hook fell from the wall during the slightest touch.

The location is great.Nice, small town.Footpath to the toboggan run "Auf der Rose" about 15 minutes, to the peat house with the car 9 minutes. The staff in the hotel is very friendly (the lady from breakfast really very much!).The breakfast (buffet) is very nicely arranged and has everything you need.

The "suite" should like to see a craftsman.The toilet was no longer screwed to the floor, the mirror cabinet in the bathroom is already quite old and swells, the cloakroom was unusable because it was no longer anchored in the wall.The bathroom could tolerate a more extensive cleaning day (some of them were still colors from the last renovation on the toilet roll holder and the sink).Otherwise the Zimnmer was clean and tidy!Tip: A trash can (except in the bathroom) would be nice.To the restaurant: eaten 1x there.It tasted good, but the portions were very manageable.My husband had a hunter schnitzel with about 8 fries on the plate.For the actually average price, it looked like a children's plate.

The bathroom fell apart when I wanted to use it.The shower wall in my room lost its middle part when opening and the clamps of the pipes on the toilet were on the floor under the pipes.The breakfast was very manageable, even if the products offered tasted good.The price at Booking and the price, if you rent a room on site, diverge by € 40 (€ 90 at Booking, € 50 on site).I don't understand how to justify it.This hotel is acceptable as a emergency solution, but there are significantly more beautiful places in Altenau where you can stay for the same price.

The room at the top was quiet, but there were hardly any other guests.Very clean and the bed was good.Personnel was very friendly and the breakfast was delicious.The stairs are very steep, which was not a problem for me, but seniors could have a challenge.The location is awesome.Center closer is not possible :-)

It repeatedly smelled of smoke in the entrance, so I didn't feel like trying to try the restaurant.What is not possible that the window in the bathroom could not be darkened.So you ran the risk of being observed from opposite to the toilet.

We slept under the roof, the stairs steep, the ceiling height in a room quite low.The equipment is older but maintained.The employees and the boss are very nice and polite, wishes and information are uncomplicated and immediately fulfilled.The food (German-Italian cuisine) was very good, the breakfast was fresh and rich, the coffee (also like tea) is very good on request.We would love to come back!

The staff's welcoming and service level was perfect.We were allowed to leave luggage while we wandered after check -out and the food tonight the restaurant was good.We just needed an overnight stay on our backpack trip and for that purpose it was perfect.

WiFi were non -existent.Furniture, wallpaper, curtain rod was of older date.The rack had fallen out of the wall ect. To breakfast, eggs were overcooked and there was a lack of bowls for the muesli

The boss and staff were really nice and sweet, very hospitable and service minded, you felt really welcome.Dinner was good and at reasonable prices.The beds were good, a little soft, but good.

Maybe the cleaning could be a little better in our opinion.Breakfast was modest compared to many other similar places.

Super bequemes Bett in gemütlich eingerichtetem Zimmer mit wc+Dusche und sogar smart TV. Trotz später Anreise gab's vom wirt noch ne komplette Pizza mit Bierchen und das Frühstück war einfach aber sehr reichlich. Und das alles fürn sehr fairen Preis. Komme gerne wieder ?
