Hotel Engel

- Centrally located (Marktplatz) Luxury hotel on the banks of the Bodensee, terrace on the Promenade - room with all the amenities except air conditioning and refrigerator, such as the most German hotels - balcony with a view of the Bodensee, was really beautiful (Single Room Nr. 1) With table and lounger.- Room with cupboard, table and seat, luggage rack.- Lift - extensive breakfast buffet as you can expect Germany, inside or outside on the promenade terrace.- Free parking if there are still parking spaces from the hotel free.- Central and yet very quiet - island town of Lindau and the city of Friedrichshafen are nearby, including the Austrian Bregenz.

Hmmmm ..... nothing, a refrigerator in room and air conditioning can rarely be found in Germany.So that should not be considered a downside

We were in the Hotel Engel for a few days, we were warmly welcomed and immediately felt comfortable.The room was clean, the food in the restaurant was excellent and the breakfast was great for everyone.The location is very good.Since my birthday I was surprised for breakfast and for dinner with little attention on the table, thank you again.We can recommend this hotel pure heart.Great families run.We will be back definitely.

The only thing that would be to complain about are the mattresses that were very hard for us, but everyone is different.

Despite the elevator in the main house, 3 steps remain at the hotel entrance and some down to the breakfast room.Conditionally barrier -free for people who are disabled.

The breakfast was very good and the staff was very friendly and courteous.We enjoyed a very good dinner on the beautiful leash and in the morning we were able to safely park and load our bicycles in the underground car park.

The furnishings of the room could be modernized

Of course, the Hotel Engel scores with its location.But the food also leaves nothing to be desired.We ate very well both well and enjoyed the rich breakfast buffet in the morning.The hotel also scores with the small but very fine wellness area.

The rooms were well equipped and spacious.The breakfast is very extensive, large selection, fresh, beautifully arranged buffet and with a wonderful view directly on the Lake Constance right in front of the window.The staff was really nice.

The location is magnificent on the banks of the Bodensee.Quiet breakfast.

The hotel especially our room would need a renovation.Prices too high for one night, the value for money is not there.Reception lacks professionalism.

The room we had didn’t have air con but that thankfully didn’t impact our stay despite the general heat and humidity at the time.
