Fantastically large standard room with large bathroom with toilet, double sink and bath with shower (without anti-slip mat). Bathroom with toiletries. Cleaning and clean towels every day. Water bottles and coffee maker with coffee cups available. Good bed with clean bed linen. Room even has a separate seat for 2 people cupboard space. Hotel has a restaurant for breakfast and dinner. No breakfast buffet but a breakfast menu that is very good. Do you want more, just ask. Coffee, tea, juices etc no problem. Friendly and professional Staff in the restaurant and reception .. Very well located opposite the carriages and at the foot of the castles. Prices are higher than usual in the vicinity, but that is completely acceptable given its location.

A complaint filed about the pillows.These are not suitable for sleeping on the sleep but only suitable for a hospital bed, to sit upright and to receive a visit.Furthermore, the menu for lunch and dinner (not for breakfast), the wine list (bottle of wine from 75 euros to 800 euros, on average 200 euros) and the kitchen with chefs can use some coaching from Gordon Ramsay.Huiswijn is normally priced.

I am happy to share my experience in this hotel because it was really remarkable.Our stay was just fantastic from start to finish.The hotel radiated a pleasant atmosphere and was extremely inviting.The service was absolutely first -class - the staff was friendly, courteous and was always ready to fulfill every wish.The rooms were comfortable and flawlessly clean, and we immediately felt at home.The highlight of our stay was definitely the food.It was simply phenomenal!Every meal was a top -class culinary experience.The quality of the dishes was outstanding and the variety of dishes left nothing to be desired.Whether breakfast, lunch or dinner - every dish was freshly prepared, with attention to detail and incredibly tasty.The restaurant staff deserves special praise for their excellent service and their hospitality.Overall, our stay in the hotel was a 1a experience that far exceeded our expectations.I highly recommend this hotel and I'm looking forward to my next visit!Instagram: sky.kastriot

If you want to run to the castle, the ideal hotel!With parking at the hotel, very practical and the hotel is located opposite from the hiking trail to the castle.We, between 40-50 years, took 30 minutes up.The hotel room was great, we got an upgrade instead of 2 individual rooms a suite gür the whole family, that was super practical for us.The rooms are well equipped, the beds comfortably, all in rustic style.The bathroom a little "older", but good in the function and clean.The breakfast was very tasty for us.The staff was also very nice and friendly.

We can only recommend the hotel!

This hotel is physically the closest one can get to sleeping in the two famous castles. The horse carriage start point is right at the hotel. Staff had prepared a bed for our dog and even put out some food for her. Breakfast is excellent.

There were not a lot of dinner options around, dinner in the hotel was ok, but expensive for what you get. Traffic getting to this location is a nightmare. None of the car charging infrastructure nearby was usable with the different charging cards we brought.

The service personell was super friendly. We forgot sth. in the apartment and they brought it to us after we had checked out already. The rooms are very spacious and would also be suited for a work trip. A plus was the bidet in the bathroom. The view onto the Castle Neuschwanstein from the bedroom was just amazing. Overall definitely worth it. And the breakfast was alright.

The beds were ok, but the metal frame and the cushions weren't really that comfortable.

Wunderschöne Lage mit Blick auf Schloß Neuschwanstein und rückwärtig Schloß Hohenschwangau. Das Haus ist gemütlich, mit alpenländischem/bayrischem Charme. Für Hundebesitzer ein Traum: Schlafmatte und gefüllte Näpfe. Selbst im Restaurant wurde ein Napf gereicht ?! Da wird das Doggybag überflüssig….

Unfortunately, the house is very noisy.

Great location (shops/castle/city/restaurants/buses & mountains). Very calm & clean. Big room w/a balcony. Pet friendly (beds, food & water bowl). Staff was very efficient, kind & helpful. Free parking. Good food (breakfast/dinner). We enjoyed our stay a lot. Will come back again. Strongly recommend this hotel.

Hot water was not always available.

The location is perfect for visiting the castles of Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau directly on foot from the hotel.L (hotel offered a parking space. The room was spacious and well equipped. Breakfast had a very generous buffet.

The hotel restaurant was very good, but with a little -limited menu for our taste.

The hotel staff was excellent and very helpful. The location to the castles was perfect.

The Wi-Fi signal was very poor, or perhaps it was only at our room, so avoid room 20. Not all tv channels worked, we were particularly interested on BBC News or CNN

Central location between the locks.Very friendly and attentive staff.For all dog owners: Dog with announce then there is a little surprise for him (17 €/night).The restaurant/kitchen is definitely only recommended.

The bed was a bit narrow.

The hotel has a wonderful location in a picturesque surrounding. The staff was really polite and helpful. Also the restaurant of the hotel is excellent and offers quality local cuisine. The breakfast was also very good.

Just like in the castle, you go back in time a bit and we liked that. The stairs and hallways were a fun maze with a nice view of the castle from the restaurant. The restaurant people were very friendly.
