Hotel & Restaurant Grenzhof

This is an amazing little hotel. The rooms, staff, food, property, location, and overall vibe of Grenzhof is amazing. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! I was worried I would have trouble because I don't speak any German, but the staff was super helpful and friendly and most of them spoke English as well. The service here was exceptional. If you're looking for a peaceful, secluded stay in the German countryside, but also close to nearby cities like Heidelberg, I can't recommend this place enough!

A very good ambience in the courtyard and lower guest area.Big praise to the very tasteful interior!The same applies to breakfast, which was served at the table and left no wish unfulfilled.Attentive and friendly waiter !!!

Unfortunately, very far from the Heidelberg Center and only accessible by car.The rooms drop far behind the level in the guest area.The bathroom is getting old.Unfortunately only standard.

Nice ambience, very lovingly designed, good food with attentive service, exceptionally beautiful conference rooms.

In two rooms, the changeover from hand shower to large shower head was not possible.The light in the shower/toilet area was also defective.Everything overloaded with decoration where price tags hang everywhere in the public area.Less more would be here!Not to position the reading view well.

The restaurant and the location are fantastic. Great and very friendly staff. If you leave before breakfast they prepare a lunch box to go.

Rooms could be more comfortable. Missing AC, especially on the higher floors under the roof.

Unfortunately, the rooms have no air conditioning.But this does not criticize the evaluation.
