Very clean, modern room in the boarding house with a comfortable box spring bed, "workshop" is great lounge to end the day comfortably.Drinks (wine, beer, water, coffee ...) can be purchased there.Breakfast Perfect - great selection, homemade jam, freshly prepared eggs, fresh fruit salad .... We were a group with 7 people - 4 rooms super nice host central location - train station and marketplace in a few minutes.With guest menu we drove free of charge to Freiburg (15 minutes) and to Basel (1 hour from Freiburg).

This family -run hotel is something very special.The staff is very friendly and really striving for the well -being of the guests.The food in the restaurant is excellent and of outstanding quality.Breakfast offers regional products and has something for every taste.We have been in a lot of hotels, but this is something really special.

There is nothing we didn't like.Perhaps the illumination in the bathroom and another towel holder would be helpful would be helpful.

Nothing important to criticize;Possibly a small brochure in the room with a repetition of the opening hours of breakfast and restaurant, the check-in and check-out times and the possibilities around sauna and fitness.

Fantastic location, nice staff, good value for the money and a fantastic restaurant. The room is basic, functional and very clean and the in-room bathroom is modern and comfy.

The selection of cheese was very basic (supermarket-style, sliced cheese and very basic camenbert). Also the sauna and the gym was outdated and uninviting.

Loved the hotel room and staff were so friendly and attentive. We traveled with our dog and they were really accommodating. Also we arrived fairly late and were able to attend the restaurant which is such a wonderful place, excellent wine and food. A wonderful visit and stay.

The hotel is located cheaply in the old town of Waldkirch, is modern and functional renovated, beautiful rooms, very competent and friendly staff.Breakfast good and rich.
