Hotel De La Poste

Staff were welcoming and friendly both at the hotel and the restaurant. The family room we booked actually had two bedrooms which was perfect for us. The location was great, walkable to everything in the very small town, and accessible by road ( on the main road but not noisy). Wonderful location for views etc.

A little tired but it was clean. A kettle in the room would have been appreciated and maybe a fridge. The restaurant was great but would have appreciated some lighter options for dinner other than the 25euro plats. It was the most expensive place we booked over our trip, but not sure we saw the value for money in it.

The location and the surrounding area

Nice hotel, but on the street with a lot of traffic, but we slept at the rear.We got a protected garage.Hotel is expensive compared to other hotels if we are on through journey.From the bedroom we heard a constant soft hum, a kind of air conditioning or freezer installation or ........ ?? There was a restaurant and you could eat there, other options were not in that village.Quality price ratio moderate.In other words, actually (too) expensive.

We were warmly greeted by the host and were very pleased with a nice cup of coffee and biscuits when we arrived.

the bathroom is actually very dated and the shower was not good. It was not possible to find the switch for the lights above the bed and it was impossible to switch off the light on the left side, consequently we had light shining all night long which made it difficult to sleep well.

I can only recommend the food if you are in the area and like to eat well I can recommend the hotel, but it is not cheap

Overall, the hotel makes a bad impression.In the shower we could not stand upright, curtain or what was there was too small and lots of water raved over the edge of the bathtub, I can't put it in words.Unfortunately I failed to take pictures.

For decades we have been making Grandes Alpes on our motorcycle tours and are thrilled again every time.The time -honored house has a special charm.You immediately feel comfortable and welcome.The food was excellent again.We also appreciate the free parish in the barn.Until the next time we come back

Typical hotel in a French village, full of charm, very well located in the village and a pleasant terrace.Really good quality food, quite sought after.

Giving on the main street, the noise of the road is inherent in the position of the building.Breakfast was not grandiose while being correct.

As always, absolutely satisfied with the overnight stay at the Hotel de la Poste.Practical rooms equipped with all the necessary.Good restaurant in the house.Parking in barn costs € 5 for a motorcycle, but is absolutely fine.Ideal stopover on the way to the south.We will be back.

The location in a village with shops ideal for the Salette, staff and very pleasant owners, local breakfast, fresh orange juice ... The room with its terrace and its view.Car park .

Better to take the half board for a stay

Breakfast very well but lack of information from staff on the possibilities not offered at the start;For example eggs, yogurt ...

Dinner menu proposals were restricted but the kitchen was good

In general, a place that meets all conditions for a pleasant stay in the French Alps, on the way to the Sanctuary of La Salette.
