The resort was built at some point and almost nothing has been renewed since then.The toilet in a miserable condition.Hair in the outflow of the shower.All usable parts were simply dirty.Access from the terrace into the water was good, but you couldn't get back.We had a house on the river and we had hung a bamboo raft in front of the entry.You could rob yourself out of the water.But it didn't work without bruises either.The pool with half a meter entry height was practically unusable.Anyone who knows the film "Open Water" can roughly imagine what that means.Essen was rather expensive at $ 7.50 - $ 9.50, and the quantities were sufficient for us.For a good eater, however, is definitely tight.It was also not a culinary delight.Beer is between $ 2 - $ 4 (0.33).However, the Cambodia and Angkor were quickly empty as a can ($ 2) and was not replenished during our stay.When we check in, we have already been informed that you definitely have 1 hour before the hunger comes to order food because the kitchen takes so much time.In our time there were 9 people in the resort.Not to be counted when the resort is full.The staff understand almost nothing you want.Not even explained with hands and feet.Only the manager Ban could really help here.It is also the good soul of the resort.There is no room service.You only get toilet paper on the express request, the trash can is emptied or a fresh towel.We cannot say anything about the tours offered, they were too expensive for us.Overall, the accommodation is absolutely overpriced.WLAN only in the entrance area.

Very friendly team and great location away from the hustle and bustle in the middle of nature.The booked river boat tour for sunset is recommended.The wine and the food were very tasty, but the portion was too small for us.We had arrived too early and had expected to have to wait.However, we were lucky and could get the room earlier than expected.Free use of kayaks - with which we are paddled to a waterfall nearby.Payment by credit card was possible and we were happy to use it.We would come back despite the negative points, otherwise we enjoyed the stay very much.Benevolent 8 points.

We were the only guests that was super pleasant for us.Unfortunately, the room was dirty than we had hoped.We have often stayed close to nature and know that space care is not always very simple.However, both mirrors were very dirty, the toilet glasses would have to be replaced and in the shower tray and the drain were incredible number of hair to be found, which we disgusted.The spots on the towels were also not exactly inviting.Furthermore, the light switches and the fan were not just a bit dusty but really stained.We would have liked it differently.The further transport to the border was unfortunately only offered very expensive (a third more than we then paid with another provider).When booking, the room images were mixed up a bit, so that we were not entirely clear whether we could get the room on the water or the tree house.You could simply fix this so that expectations can be met.

Great location, with spectacular views up and down the river. The rooms were authentic, stylish and comfortable. The food in the restaurant was tasty, but it was always a bit of a gamble as to what you were given to eat and rarely correlated with what you'd ordered, but the staff were always friendly and smiley and so you shrugged your shoulders and muttered ces't la vie to yourself and enjoyed the food.

The water sport facilities were a bit sad: the kayaks were quite old, there weren't enough paddles compared to kayaks etc. Swimming in the river was fun, but it was very difficult to get out, there are no ladders, so you have to haul yourself up quite a way onto the floating platform. Both my wife and myself hurt ourselves trying to do this. There wasn't a lot to do. They had some very expensive boat trips, which we chose not to do, but it wouldn't have taken much to organise a nightly sunset cruise or a daily fishing trip which anyone staying at the hotel could have joined in with.

The location is breathtaking. Only accessible by river. The rooms and bungalows are of a very high standard although may be a little on the small side for two people. The bed was probably the most comfortable I have ever slept in. The staff were all thoroughly delightful. Food was good although I was a little shocked to be told there was neither whisky nor brandy stocked.

What has to be mentioned is getting there and back. The main road, the 48, from the south is still being built and, knowing Cambodian infrastructure, probably will be for many years to come. Unless you are a rally driver or an expert motorcyclist riding a well equipped motorbike appropriate to the 'off-road' conditions, do not attempt to get there by road yourself.

Absolutely fantastic!From the time of booking about the pick -up by boat under the Ta Tai Bridge and during the stay, the service was great, which is certainly also thanks to Bon, which speaks English very well and has only been there for 2 months.The ownership couple and the whole team were also super friendly.The floating house is very tastefully decorated and really like in a fairy tale.We didn't miss an air conditioning system at all, the fan was completely enough, as a pleasant breeze through the house at night.Be sure to stay 2 nights.The price is also very good for this perfect atmosphere.

The location on the river is beautiful and the manager is very service -oriented, competent and English speaking!The rest of the staff is friendly and helpful. The food is very tasty (Red Curry!).

Unfortunately, the rooms are not cleaned, which is not a problem, but it would be nice to have a broom to put the natural dirt away.The food prices are between $ 6.50 and $ 10, the portions are very small.A beer costs $ 3.The pool (actually a piece was fenced by the river) is not really usable because you cannot go in and out.It is better to get into the river with the help of a bamboo fin.

Stunning setting. The floating villas are something very special. V rustic but comfy beds and truly amazing just being out on the water. Cambodian food was decent. No dramas with long waits for food as described by others. Friendly staff and accommodating.

Room could have been a lot cleaner. Some lights didn't work well, some missing bulbs. Sheets stained. Staff were super friendly but only one speaks English which makes ordering food or anything else kind of challenging. Nothing insurmountable though and when asked/ understood were happy to try to accommodate. WiFi very patchy.

We were very disappointed to have such a beautiful place by the river and not to be able to take advantage of it because no place is planned to get out of the water. It is unfortunately the biggest defect in this establishment for a Place where everything is done to swim and to deprive it.

Fantastic location directly at the river in the rainforest. Very nice staff and Bun, the lady who is in charge for everything is really in charge and wonderful! There is not much to do, so be prepared for relaxing days at the river. We really enjoyed our three days

We booked a two room house with living room and sleeping room and three beds. This was the description on booking.com. It turned out that this kind of houses does not exist. So they are offering something they don’t have. We got a sleeping room with two separate beds which was okay then.

The resort' location is very special with the Tatai river in front of it and moutains on the back, It is hard to find one in a developed country ,because rarely comercial resort can be allowed to be built so close to the nature. We arrive late of the night, the crews wait us at the Tatai river Bridge for more than an hour, we are so appreciate about their ferry service. The place is very suitable for juggle exploration and sunset watching, we join the resort' one day tour, the price is very economic.

Eating is a little tedius，less choices

Our stay at Thansur Tatai Eco Resort was dreamy. The place couldn’t be more beautiful and the location couldn’t be better. There is a wide range of trips to chose from as well as kayaks you can use to plan your own escapes. Bon is an amazing host and she was always there making sure that everything was going well. She even helped us arrange a car once we have checked out after we missed our bus. Food is delicious and one more time, Bon was there to recommend the house specialties. Thank you very much! Completely recommended.

The location on the river is great, from your own veranda you can go straight into the water or paddle.

The rooms are actually pretty, but badly well -kept.A lot is dusted, worn and worn out ... very bad! Attention no transfer of the hotel!We were sent a defective car, after several stops on the street we ended up in the car workshop, where we sat there again for 2 hours until a replacement car came.Instead of 7-8 hours, the trip lasted 12 hours and without a break for a lunch ... the full price was still required.

Great location completely secluded.Nice idea with the rooms on the water.Nice excursions are offered.Since you are picked up by boat, you must contact the accommodation before arriving.Overall, I would come again and again.

The food was a bit very simple and the bar rather chilled beer.In total, some small things in the equipment or processes are round.But the manager makes up for a lot with her great kind, permanent responsiveness and charm.

you are captive cause you can only get there by boat. the feeling i got was that we were an ATM Cash Machine. food and drinks were very expensive for what it’s worth compared to the rest of Cambodia, but you can’t go elsewhere easily (20-30$ for a 10 minute return boat ride to the bridge) and if you stay longer the food variety is smallish so you’ll end up eating the same thing several days in a row.

Very charming and exotic water hotel!A boat picks you up from the bridge and takes you 10 mins crossing further.We did the excursion in the jungle and the sunset by boat, which we recommend!

Nevertheless, the infrastructure seems a little old, the meals are dear to the quality of the food (+long wait), and the level of service is less to the expected than we could have hoped for in terms of the price of the Room / night.

Thansur has everything going for it—location, hosts, the staff, etc. It is situated right on the Tatai river and provides such easy access to all the cool spots—mangroves, fishing village, Koh Kong Island, Tatai waterfalls. We spent hours lazing in the lovely Tatai water and kayaking to one of the numerous spots along the river to swim, sun bathe, and generally be one with the nature.

Great location and nice staff.The accommodations are beautifully designed.The food in the hotel was very good.If you are prepared to only eat on site and consider that the supply is relativized via the river, the prices that are completely ok.

The hotel has a lot of potential when it is well maintained.The excursion program can still be improved.

The resort is really something different if you’re wanting to get away from the city. The staff were really incredible and answered all questions that we had. Bon was brilliant and helped us organise a car from the bridge to Sihanoukville, she made our stay incredibly easy.

The food is a bit limited but that being said the food was incredible!

Amazing location, genuinely stunning. Far enough from Tatai bridge to be completely quiet, and tucked in amongst the rainforest. Comfy beds, cool deck over the river, good food, helpful staff. It was very quiet when we were there.

Everything was very good!

Relaxing place even if access is not easy because the road is under construction over 200 km.Swimming in the nice and canoeing river available.Ideal 3 night stay.After time may seem long because you can't do anything around.WiFi is very correct.

The rooms and the entire complex are pretty run down and a bit shabby. No room service during our three nights stay. Half the price would have been enough. Restaurant is okay, but 90% of dishes are +10 USD and there are no vegetarian options.

Quite expensive meals for Cambodia, similarly to use attractions on site (boat trips, etc.) - rather European prices.It is not possible to use a restaurant other than the one available on the spot.Long waiting time for meals.

I had my first gecko encounter here!! ? This is the place you'd want to go to be disconnected to the world.

The internet is limited to the lobby.. I really wish the water would drain off completely from the hot tub, because it's not very hygienic otherwise.
