Hotel PomMarine

We liked the hotel very much. The receptionist was very good, kind, considerate, pleasant, and beautiful manners. Nothing was too much for her. I don't remember her name. All the security staff were pleasant.

I didn't like how the breakfast was. I think the buffet style should let us take the breakfast ourselves. Also the glass for the juice was too small, you had to take about 6 glasses. They need to find a way of doing the toast because you select your breakfast, by the time they do your toast, the breakfast is cold. Plus, they do not have to slice it in triangles. One particular member of staff was very rude. She needed to be in school to learn professionalism. Otherwise all the members of staff at breakfast were very welcoming.

Breakfast was good considering that you had a lot of students learning about catering and other duties that they carry out. They were friendly and went about their duties quietly and politely.

The one thing that stood out for us was that there wasn't a fridge or a kettle in the room. I am a tea drinker and unfortunately you cannot get the water hot enough using the coffee machine for tea, water must boil to get the flavour out of the leaves.

Great hotel apparently a training center for hospitality students. Lovely location only a block away from the ocean.

Only complaint (actually more of an afterthought) perhaps the staff/students could be taught to relax a little. All the staff we met did a great job but the contacts we had would have been a little more human if they could relax and enjoy Theo contacts with customers- please regard this as very positive criticism ?

The hotel manager, Ms. Barton was a gem and extremely helpful when we upgraded our room to the apartment. The hotel was very quiet with two restaurants on site. The location was close to the beach, other restaurants and public transportation.

I really wanted more Bajan cuisine for breakfast. The street leading to the hotel from the main road needs better lighting. I wish I could have stayed longer. ?

Breakfast was fine.There was what should be.

The staff is very slow and service is something cumbersome.You have to request fresh coffee, more milk or filling of missing food.You get good value for money but must be aware that it is a "hotel school" with very young people who must have constantly confirmed what they must or must not.Fine facilities but not easy to use.

All staff is attentive, the manager in the restaurant is great. The kids in training are wonderful!! Lunch and dinner was simply amazing!! Room staff is great. This is definitely my choice of stay.

Breakfast prep and availability could use a little attention. A little slow at times. I wish this hotel location was on the beach.

It was situated close to amenities, the staff were really helpful and pleasant and the hotel was clean.

Although the rooms were very clean, some of the furniture and curtains were a little “tired” or in need of minor repair. There were a few sun lounges round the pool and they were very heavy and hard to move.

Lovely clean and comfortable rooms. Good location easy walk to beach and shops. Reception staff extremely helpful booked us a meal and taxi for our anniversary and reserved a table for breakfast..

Training hotel sp breakfast hit and miss. Didn't have lunch or dinner but others said good value.

Shower, bath and defective safety chest.Uncomfortable bed.The hotel is also a hotel school.The catering service is therefore not up to our expectations.The service was extremely slow and the food very average.The evaluations on Booking.com have misleaded us

The hotel was exceptionally clean and the staff were excellent. A special thanks to Chef Toni Simpson who cooked to perfection some Wahoo and Tuna fish that we had caught on a fishing trip that morning. This was the best tasting fish we have ever eaten!

The location is great as a base location and the property is fantastic value for money. Lots of nice eateries on the boardwalk. Pleasant walk along beach up to Carlisle bay. Felt completely safe.

Everything was good, location, room, breakfast, and staff. Lovely pool area. Only about 5 minutes from the beach.

There wasn't a hairdryer in the room, you could get one from reception, but that was a bit inconvenient

The staff. I was in a bind had to leave another hotel quickly because of a horrible woman. These guys had me in my room an hour after making reservations. Professional staff.

Just wish it was on the beach!

Staff very professional and friendly. Welcome drink was a nice touch. Rooms were good. Pool very nice. Easy walk to beach/ocean.

The young staff was special and committed and friendly.The atmosphere in the house was personally and well -kept.We felt very comfortable and are happy to recommend the hotel.

We stayed for one night of which the bar was closed which was strange for a hotel to do this especially on a Friday night.
