I think my experience to the Bolivian side of Lake Titicaca would not have been complete without staying at the Las Olas. It was magnificent! My room had a glorious view of the lake - the best of all in surrounding area. Notwithstanding the enormous size of the room, everything was spotlessly clean. It had an amazing bathroom with hot shower, well-stocked kitchen with gas-powered oven (I could cook real meals if I wanted to), clean comfortable bed. The design of the room and hotel in general deserves recognition - it's very different and a lot of fun to explore. Friendly staff, held my suitcase after check-out.
Location. The hotel's advantage is also its disadvantage. It's located on top of the hill with giant stairs leading up to it. The bus transfer dropped me off at the main square and I had to drag my suit case all the way to the base of the hostel, then had to bring it up the giant stairs. Given the altitude, it was not an easy task. In addition, the relentless afternoon sun made the whole arrival and departure experience really exausting.

Our stay in the Hostal Las Olas was undoubtedly one of the highlights of our trip! The rooms and suites were perfectly equipped and offered everything we needed and more. The fireplace caused a cozy even when it was cold outside. The panoramic view on the lake was simply breathtaking, and the fact that we had several beds made our stay even more comfortable. An absolute highlight were the freely living alpacas on the hotel site - A wonderful surprise! Her presence contributed to the unique atmosphere of the place. We found it difficult to separate from this idyllic place and could have stayed longer. Many thanks to the Hostal team Las Olas for this unforgettable stay!

The room exceeded my expectations quite comfortable and with many amenities. The kitchen and the exceptional bath.Hot water in sinks and kitchen.
I think they could warn me that the entrance to the hostel's garage was on another avenue to avoid discomfort.I asked for a mat to be able to clean my feet. But the staff that was not identified denied me because the deposit was closed. The road is dirt and when Riegan becomes mud, so it would be useful.Juan very friendly, the rest of the staff did not like, he lacked customer service.Little ventilation in the room, only has a window that can be opened on the last floor, we cook and the smell was concentrated.

I have known this hotel since before the pandemic and it is still as extraordinary.Room in small snails like, all more beautiful and original than each other.View of the incredible Titicaca lake. The bedding is extremely comfortable, the hotel is beautiful, well located (5 minutes walk from the center of Copacabana). You can eat: pots and dishes available! There are also hot water bottles to put in bed if you are chilly.Small stove also for cooler nights!Private terracedes for each small accommodation with hammock and table. It is the essential place to sleep and stay during your stay!
NOTHING !It's perfect.

The property is unique. I have never stayed in such a place. All the rooms are individual and the design makes you feel like you’re in wonderland. The rooms have plants inside which makes them more cosy. There are llamas grazing on the property as well as chickens. There was heating in the morning and in the evening. The rooms had individual hammock and sun beds which allowed us to rest in the sun and enjoy the lake view.
The only thing I didn’t like was the stair climbing to the property. However this is something that cannot be avoided in Copacabana.

The Sultan suite is magnificent! And the view is splendid. The bed is huge and very comfortable. The staff are adorable and the kitchen is rather well equipped. There are a few cats and also lamas that wander in the garden. It is a very pleasant place of life. The La Cupula next door restaurant is excellent and has a very good value for money.
A small recommendation: a small fridge would be welcome in the kitchen of the suite.

We loved our stay at Hostal Las Olas! The room and bed was very comfortable and absolutely beautiful. The view was fabulous and we enjoyed the jacuzzi and fireplace when it became cold. The staff were also quite helpful and kitchen handy to use. It was a great place to spend our time acclimatising to the altitude and base to explore the islands.
The shower spout didn't work well - which we passed onto the staff.

We spent two nights here - initially just booked one night but then stayed another night. They were very accommodating, allowing us to check into another room straight after check out from the first room. Both rooms were beautiful and clean with great views and comfortable beds. The hotel property itself is very pretty and only 10 mins walk from the centre. Would definitely recommend.

They are spectacular cabins and staying there is one of the best things or tourist attractions that you can do in Copacabana, they have available board games, chimney, where we were left there were 2 bathrooms, an excellent view, an balcony overlooking Lake Titikaka.Very friendly people.
I would like them to offer the possibility of breakfast with an additional position or something.

The uniqueness of the buildings & surrounding grounds. Such an amazing & fun place. Felt special being there. Plus the alpacas roaming the grounds was incredible. Highly recommend!
Lack of fridge (perhaps this was in the common area, but we didn't check). We didn't necessarily need a fridge, it just meant we didn't purchase any such food or milk. It didn't ruin our stay though.

Such a wacky, fun hostel with amazing suites. We loved our 2 level suite with comfortable seating area downstairs and the bed upstairs. It was great to have our own kettle and cooking things in case we wanted a meal in. The staff were great!
The option of breakfast would have been good but that is my only comment

The architecture of the chalets accompanied by stunning view and hospitality of the employees were amazing!Everything was clean and organized, the route to the central square is easily accessible.Surely if you return to Copacabana I will host myself again !!!
Nothing, everything was great!

Exceptional place
The street being under construction, access by car is not possible up to the foot of the hotel, and we had to mount our luggage (there were 4 of us including 1 child) to the room;access by fairly intense markets). However, the place is largely worth this effort

Spectacular view!Giant room!Amazing experience!Street was under construction but got us a place to the car at another hotel.
There was a drip noise in our lining all night. There is also no breakfast at the hotel, but there are hotels next door they provide.

Architecture, design, view and attention of the A1 personnel always pending and friendly in everything we can need to make our stay pleasant. Many board games to our availability.
A little tired the climb to the hotel, but you can do it with taxi.

Unique design. Fabulous view of Lake Titicaca. Helpful staff. Hammocks on private patio. Bag storage and area to relax for late departure.
Steep steps up to bed in loft but we were aware of this when we booked.

The view was awesome and the stay was great overall. The shower was perfect with hot water for all of us. I really enjoyed the location as well. Probably the best place to stay in Copacabana.
