Hotel Rotdorn

-Style: Nice Old-Fashined, Pre-War or Even 19th Century Esthetics, which Seems Genuine/Organic, Not Something Artificailly Cobbled Up. A Lot of Paintings Are Real, Not Prints, And Most Of The Furnit is So From The Period.- Size: Cozy, intimate.- Cleanliness: very clean, nice scent all around.- Staff: very Friendly, Pleasant, Helpul.- Public Transport Accessibility: S-Bahn Station is Barely 200m Away.- Garden: Secluded, Quiet.- Disely furnished, cozy, very clean, healthy and delicious breakfast, friendly staff, good connection to the city center.For every recommendation!

- Too small bathroom in one of the rooms: My "Budget Twin Room" had an almost unusably small bathroom, less than 2x2m, with a tiny sink. I would've gladly paid more for a normal bathroom, but didn't expect to have this kind of issue in a hotel like this. Contrastingly, the "Standard Double Room" had a great bathroom. - Street-facing side is very noisy: It's not an average street, it's a very busy boulevard, with almost continuous hum. But the windows are very good, and are stopping the noise almost completely.

Wunderbares Hotel, stilvoll möblierte Zimmer, wunderschöner Frühstücksraum mit großem Frühstücksangebot, liebevolle, stilvolle kleine Tisch-Dekoration, freundliches, hilfsbereites Personal! Weil es uns so gut gefiel, haben wir vor Ort noch Aufenthalt im Hotel um zwei Tage verlängert !!! Das Hotel ist seit Jahrzehnten im Familienbesitz, das Niveau ist über die gesamte Zeit gleich hoch geblieben. Ich bin Berlinerin, wohne privat nur ein paar Straßen weiter und habe früher - durch meinen Beruf bedingt - das Hotel oft Geschäftsleuten aus dem Bundesgebiet empfohlen, die alle sehr begeistert waren ... Übrigens von der Lage hervorragender Ausgangspunkt mit toller Anbindung an ÖPNV, um Berlin zu erkunden. Und, der Grunewald ist fußläufig auch in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen. ?

There is nothing....

It started funny by entering a door on the side. Once walked through the receptionist was standing behind the desk and smiles! I said that I'm too early but maybe we can do something and I can leave my bags already there. Then I got an upgrade and I was even able to check in over an hour before I normally should have arrived! For those not loving oldschool furnished rooms and environment - this might be the wrong place. But in my case this was just perfect!

There is nothing really I could find that I didn't like. So all in all this stay exceeded all expectations and I defo would come back and stay with Rotdorn the next time I'll be visiting Berlin! Many many thanks!

Very nice reception in an old, very nice Berlin hotel.An extremely well -oriented fragrance was noticeable throughout the hotel.Clear, but good and sufficient breakfast with delicious baked goods.We slept excellently and it was very quiet.All in all, we had a very nice stay.We were able to visit some rooms and everyone was the same in style, but still very individually and tastefully decorated.

We have nothing to complain about.

The staff was friendly and accommodating.Even for our dog was a welcome snack in the feed shell.The rooms clean and well -kept.WLAN is protected and data transmission is good.Breakfast is rich without overloading.Very appealing prepared.Proximity to the Teufelsberg is perfect for the dog exit.

Breakfast was OK for the price and sufficient, hotel with charm of Art Nouveau, very nice staff, helpful, check-in, check-in uncomplicated even when traveling later,

Actually nothing, if at all scrambled eggs at breakfast was only lukewarm

Very great breakfast, very warm welcome.Next time I would take a room towards the courtyard/garden, because it is a little louder on the street.Feasible with closed windows, but not ideal.Overall, a great stay!

Location on the street

It was a really nice hotel. We had room 04. The bathroom was the eye -catcher !!!There was an air conditioning system and very nicely decorated.For breakfast everything was there that you can also enjoy at home on the weekend.

The hallway is very noisy.At night you heard a lot from the room and you often woke up.

Very nice, old building.Optimally located at the train station and very close to the highway and Co. Personal super courteous and nice.Breakfast rich!

Room a bit cool, but completely fine.Sometimes a little confusing.

The beds were very hard.Poorly equipped in the kitchen department if you wanted to cook.No oven as it was said.

Very varied breakfast, extremely friendly staff.It was even possible to use the hotel after checking out on the same day (tea, coffee including).Very good location for U- and S-Bahnen and the Olympic Stadium.
