We really liked the hotel from its external appearance and with its wall paintings on the history of the building.The island location was also nice.Just a few steps away from the hotel, you get to the lake promenade with beautiful seating, which invite you to linger.In addition, the hotel is very central, so that the old town can be reached quickly.The breakfast buffet is very extensive and offers everything you could wish for: from smoothies, honeycomb, changing cheese selection, vegan alternatives, salmon and trout to your own request freshly made scrambled eggs.The coffee is brought to the square on request.The staff is very friendly, polite and helpful.To the room: Large corridor area with a spacious wardrobe (enough storage options, ironing board with iron, wooden shell, good shoe brush), comfortable double bed, seating area with comfortable and rotating seating, small balcony.Minibar with free drinks (very good water, beer and a cola - why only a cola bottle and not two?) And daily free filling service.Welcome package for our dog.When checking out, you get two water bottles for the trip.

Very well -kept building ensemble, traditional (but not antiquated) hotel in the old monastery complex directly on the lake shore.Tasteful, subtle and valuable, the rooms are furnished "without kitsch and pomp".We had a large room with an anteroom and a small balcony to the lake (Deluxe DZ), very, very pleasant!This also applies to breakfast and the evening menu in the Dominican Current.Cooking is modern and regional, very fresh, very good quality.There was also a very good offer for us as a vegetarian.Irish iron in the room and much more, certainly also suitable for a multiple stay in summer, then the seaside resort is also easy to use.A blanket and two bowls were made available to our dog, as well as "treats".In the evening she was allowed to go to the Dominican first, very nice because we had just traveled.For breakfast we were covered with a table in the bar, because you understandably didn't want to leave a dog to the breakfast buffet.

50.00 € for the dog per day is above average, we didn't even have to pay that in Switzerland.

Access to the bathroom was through a wing door.This did not go in both directions.That was a bit cumbersome.Likewise in the dressing area.The chairs in the conference room were unfortunately not very comfortable.After sitting for a long time as usual with conferences, you get back pain.

Die Lage des Hotels in Kombination mit einem Zimmer mit Seeblick waren der Anlass für die Buchung. Meine Erwartungen wurden weit übertroffen. Während des kompletten Aufenthaltes wird man von sehr freundlichem Personal begleitet. Das Essen war ebenfalls sehr gut ? Das Willkommensgeschenk für meinen Vierbeiner war eine sehr angenehme Überraschung. Für die nächste Reise nach Konstanz werde ich das Inselhotel definitiv vormerken ??

The hotel installed in an old monastery is located by the lake.The passageway around the inner courtyard gives a charming appearance to the whole.The spacious room was quiet, the bed comfortable.The Dominikaner Stube supper was excellent, the friendly and pleasant service.A special mention for the room very typical of the region.The breakfast buffet was very good.

The glass door of the bathroom which did not guarantee 100%intimacy.

The location could not be better, the rooms are generous and clean.From here you can reach the wonderful old town in a few minutes on foot, the neighboring city garden is nicely laid out and the view over the lake is a pleasure.I fulfilled a childhood dream here.

The parking fees with € 26 are violent, but one has to say fairly that it is almost impossible to find a parking space in Constance.
