Peace and serenity. Wooden Sauna was extremely good. Location for sure, just besides the lake , perfect for viewing Northern lights ( when it comes)? The kitchen is fully equipped with all sorts of kitchen appliances. Plus, kudos to the owners for keeping lots of basic items ( left by fellow travelers) already available for others to use. Towels, toiletries, bedsheets, pillow all in abundance. Owners were a message away. Feeding the Reindeers was an extremely unique experience for us. We took pick up and drop off service from the owners, very handy. As the van takes us to shopping before we reach the cottage. Highly recommended and we will surely visit again.

We had a bed and sofa cum bed for two adults and a child. Bed was smaller for two normal sized adults (Husband 182 cm and wife 167 cm). Felt little cramped. There is absolutely no cupboard in the cottage , so all the clothes ( outdoors and indoors) have to be hanged on the hooks. It is also a bit difficult if staying for a longer duration. Would highly appreciate it if one can be added to the cottage.

- Extraordinary location, easy to reach by car (~1 hour drive from Rovaniemi). Main roads are well-maintained, the final road is cleaned by the family with their amazing tractor. - Gorgeous nature with a forest around the house on one side and a lake shore on the other. We skied across the lake and reached wild woods on the other side. - Extremely private and quiet location. Perfect for stargazing and aurora hunting. Yet the hosts are nearby if needed. - Great facilities: ski rental, snowmobile rental, their own reindeer farm. Talk to the hosts about a reservation. - Kitchen stocked with everything. Oil, salt, coffee, utensils, pots and pans are all abundantly present. - True Finnish sauna in a separate cubicle attached to the house. Wood fireplace in the house. Wood is provided for the whole stay.

- Be aware that a bathroom is colocated with a sauna. You have to go outside across the porch (2 foot steps) to reach it from the main room. It did not affect our stay at all, just be prepared.

It is a corner of paradise on earth, very pretty typical house, very, very, very spacious and super clean, decorated with great taste, very well equipped, sauna in the house and Nordic bath on the terrace.The environment is magical and magical with a view of this large snowy lake.Jana is an exceptional host, always very caring to make your stay even more comfortable :-).The reindeers are right next to us, possibility to observe them and give them food (Jaana gives you food suitable for them.) Then you can take snowshoes on site for magnificent snowshoe hikes on the lake, in the Forest ... You should know that it is really in the middle of nature with the next supermarket 40 km (so provide provisions) but which also does all the charm of this place.We had eyes full of stars in this magnificent place between a splendid nature and very rich meetings ...

Lovely place to stay - To start the scenery and location is incredible, lovely secluded place which is homey and cosy yet spacious at the same time. The owners were lovely, with great communication and local knowledge. They had set the beds up as two doubles for both couples and they were really comfortable. The owners provided lots of information and were on hand to answer any questions or queries. The place was extremely warm throughout our stay and very comfortable - would 100/10 recommend. Feeding and seeing the reindeers on our last day was another amazing highlight that they offered! We all left not wanting to leave :) Additionally, the property had everything you'd need to cook etc (lots of utensils) which made cooking a breeze!

We spent 5 unforgettable days.The chalet is located on the edge of a lake (frozen being January) immersed completely in nature.A show!Equipped with any type of comfort, sauna, double shower, washing machine, dryer, kitchen with oven, coffee machine and various accessories.The pleasure of returning from a day to -25 degrees and turning on the fireplace has no equal.Jenna, Janna and all her family were formidable help to book excursions and assist us throughout your stay.Certainly I feel like recommending to all those who seek calm and peace (one hour of road from Rovaniemi - highly touristy) their structure and if I had to return to Lapland we would certainly return to them!

Incredible cottage with great amenities. Comfy, private, quiet, accessible (be it far). Situated at a lake, which allowed us to see the northern lights clearly and with minimal light pollution on two nights of our stay! Staff were very kind and accommodating. Will definitely come back next winter!

Very little not to like. About an hour's drive from Rovaniemi on fairly perilous roads in winter, but that's the price for being away from the hustle and bustle!

Ideal chalet for families, equipped with everything you need and more, located in a dream place.We were 2 marriages with 5 children in total and we were very comfortable and taste.The personnel always predisposed to advise and help in what you need.We really liked to travel the surroundings of the house and visit the reindeer.When we were, they made 28 degrees below zero, and we never went cold at home, heating works perfectly.

The house was amazing .. we loved every second of staying there .. the owners are super friendly and nice and they provided us with the snow mobile service ride, Elias built a bonfire and we cooked sausages and marshmellows and they also did home made hot chocolate for us … will definatly recommend this place its magical

We loved the cosy cabin and very comfortable bed. Everything was immaculately clean! Plenty of wood for the fireplace and sauna. We booked the hottub for both nights. It was so nice, but very expensive. However, it was a treat to ourselves for our wedding anniversary. We will definitely return to stay here again.

We loved absolutely everything. Somebody elase here said “home away from home”. One only needs clothes and laptop and can easily live there for a year without actually needing anything.

Nothing really. If being very picky I might say that one newer frying pan would be great but it was manageable without as well.

The mattresses were not very good, but hey, you could sleep well.

The chalet is simply wonderful, welcoming, romantic, fairy tale.As well as all the nature that surrounds it.

Unfortunately the bed too small for two people.The external bathroom, which at night with -25 degrees is not exactly the best.But absolutely not invalidating.You just have to know.
