Hotel Brasserie Smits

Friendly staff. Lovely quiet location. Simple, self serve breakfast. We stayed out of season so the whole village was very quiet. Room was very clean, and the mattress was very comfortable. The lady doing breakfast was very helpful and gave us details of where to hire bikes for the day. Ask for a room facing the waterfront, rather than overlooking the flat roof.

Building work in the hotel started at 7.30am and the extractor fan outside the bedroom window was noisy all night. Walls were thin and noise from other guests banging doors was heard. The stairs were incredibly steep.

Kettle and coffee maker available (coffee, sugar, milk, tea) everything was there.2 small bottles of water offered.Mini fridge in the room.Facing the sea (no direct view from the window because of a stop opposite), but you just have to cross the road and you can make a nice walk.Port .Snack right next to the hotel.

Small room, the shops nearby were closed (closure at 4 p.m.).We wanted to have a drink at the brasserie around 4:30 p.m., there was no room.The girl al welcome was not very responsive.

Very friendly staff, the restaurant was excellent and the breakfast above our expectations.

We can't change anything about the weather .... the steep staircase was a bit creepy.

Room was very small, shower was so small that you can barely wash hair.You couldn't fill kettle because sink and distance to tap was much too small.

It is a Hotel Brasserie, so it is possible to eat on site.Very very spacious room.Large shower.

No very steep elevator and staircase, it is complicated to set up the luggage.

The staff were friendly and helpful.

The steep staircase up was not pleasant, certainly not with a bag in the hand.The shower water almost ran into the room.
