Bamboo Nest Beachfront Floating Tent

Woah this place was special. I wish as a group we stayed more than one night. The were some locals who were there and asked us to join them and they caught fish in the night, cooked it on the barbecue for us and also taught us some things about what you can find in the sea. They were so funny, so nice and honestly just the warmest and most beautiful people. Cracking jokes all night. You must come with an open heart, we were all very tired when we arrived so we weren’t expecting to stay up the night but we did and it was one of the best nights enjoyed with some of the funniest people we’ve ever met. The place is super cute, there aren’t many bugs, the tents did get a little bit hot but you’re on a floating deck on the ocean in the Philippines. I would recommend this place for group of friends, I can imagine we would’ve had all good nights here. The owner Jonathan is so lovely, greeted us all personally when we arrived and also helped us with our transport to airport. Flucky and lo you guys are the best seashells in the ocean. Thank you. I can’t rave enough about this cute little accommodation. I love it.

The staff didn’t really know what was going on when we arrived and had to wait 45mins to check in and put our bags away. The tents were really hot. The fan only works for 5 hours at a time and the dock didn’t look like the photos. Due to tides and rain we had to walk in nearly waist deep water to cross to the land in morning. The workers started building/fixing the dock early in the morning when we hadn’t got out of bed yet. Also doesn’t have many restaurants around and feels unsafe to walk around at night.

Loved everything about this place! We booked two nights initially then added an extra two nights! Was the perfect end to our holiday. Highly recommend! Staff are extremely friendly and happy and helpful! Jonathan the owner helps to book in all adventures and tours which is great! The local area is awesome with local street food and restaurants! All locals very happy and speak pretty good English too! If you're visiting Puerto Princesca, you must stay here!

La casa flotante es preciosa y la tienda de campaña muy cómoda, no tiene enchufes pero tiene un enchufe común donde puedes cargar tus cosas, así que sin problema de estar incomunicado :) toda una experiencia dormir aquí ?

One of the most amazing places I’ve stayed in over 3 years of travelling. Couldn’t ask for a better first day in Philippines. Super close to the airport, and the place was full of kittens and puppies ? they even gave us coconuts and there was live music on Friday. Amazing value for the price. Beautiful & unique experience to sleep on the water. Surprisingly there were no mosquitoes.

Located in a local district of Puerto Princesa, this place charmed me with its authenticity and its community.The driver recommended by the owner was punctual and very friendly.I had the pleasure of sharing a meal "kamai-kamai" composed of tuna, sardines and "frogfish", accompanied by a delicious sticky rice and a typical sauce made from soy sauce and "calamansi" .

Owner - very helpful and open, the very fact of sleeping in a tent at sea + beautiful sea views, a lot of Pjesków

Lack of drinking water (which is rather standard in the Philippines), a short distance of bars: restaurant (the beach is medium developed), despite the windmill in the tent it can sometimes be quite warm

We stayed in the floating tent and that was unforgettable experience. There are many hammocks where we could relax. Staff was super friendly and on Saturday and Sunday they have social evenings with guitars, drums and singing. Fair scooter rental price. Nice breakfast

Showers needed more pressure, very inconsistent

The welcome, the setting, the animals everywhere, the "chill" atmosphere (perfect before taking the plane), the Floating Tent is unusual.Great experience.Be careful however, the photo does not really correspond because there are several tents (like a dormitory) but it is absolutely not annoying.

Staff there are so friendly. They treat you like their friends, their family. It is a place where you can just chill all day as it is just by the beach and has a nice bar. Anyway, the idea of sleeping in a tent in a floating hut is so dope! An experience you have to have!

Really great place with fantastic staff, owner is very nice and warm guy very talented with his guitar. What we didn't expect is the amount of super friendly dogs and cats on site, best surprise of our whole trip :) We were really sad that we couldn't stay longer.

certainly interesting to stay in the floating tent and there’s a nice atmosphere on the beach. however it doesn’t look quite like the photos as there are several tents on the one float. but all in all a really different and enjoyable experience.

We met very nice and warm -hearted people there.The owner invited us to a little musician-singing-drink Jamboree.We felt fantastic.And the view is simply wonderful.

The stay was just fabulous, the staff is so kind and helped us out to discover the island. Would highly recommend. Great experience to sleep on the water.

The tent was very clean and comfortable. The community showers and toilet were surprisingly clean, but that everything was in the sand.

Directly on the beach. Nice charm, very friendly staff and lots of pets.

Sometimes the barking was too loud. The tents get very warm..
