Moonshine Resort Chumphon

I stayed for around 10 days here in a tent. The staff were welcoming and always looking to please, and the pool and loungers were great for getting hot and then cooling off. It's really remote, which suits me greatly and is extremely affordable. Don't expect many restaurants or bars nearby. In fact, don't expect much of anything nearby. The bathroom was spacious, and the food at the guesthouse was filling.

It gets extremely hot in the tents, but they have air-conditioning; you just need to get the temp right. Naturally, noise travels through a tent, which can get annoying. Anyone staying in a room complained about their beds being too hard, mine was fine in the tent.

The tent is a little too down. Reserve a Family room as a tent.But the picture is not very on the coverThe real thing looks more lonely than in the picture. There is no TV, refrigerator, slippery floor, take the cat with the accommodation. Real luxury glamping. Also the owner has a beach bar/restaurant 5 minutes away at the beach and when it started pouring, the owner offered to drive us back the road to the hotel for no cost, which was really nice! Transfer to the pier was also included at no extra cost, which was a plus!

Hard bed and a bit annoying having to zip the tent closed/open every time you want to go to the bathroom or so. A bit removed from anything to do, but I guess many stay here to catch the morning ferry like we did.

The staff is incredible!!! I have never met anyone friendlier than Khun Luna. She is super cute and helpful, arranges everything for you. She speaks so many languages! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone, who wants to stay in a quiet area. You have the possibility to rent a motorbike, she arranges a transfer from her hotel to the pier for you, if you take a boat. Incredible! And definitely exceeding my expectations, regarding the price I paid. Kop Khun Kha Khun Luna

A really great place.Close to sea, quiet, pleasant and just what we wanted.A little pass by and it's a shame but you have a place!The meals are loaded with improvement but the atmosphere is worth everything and the beach is stunning!Was just ours.We came for the night and stayed 5 nights.

Improved meals but the very fact that there are paid soft drinks, ice creams, and hottest drinks are all the time enough.

We had chosen this accommodation for its proximity to the pier for Koh Tao, and it was perfect.It's really close and a vehicle accompanies us for free.For the 7 -hour boat, we leave the hotel at 6:15 am.The swimming pool is very significant after the day of the road we had made the day before boarding.Impeccable meal for the evening.Basic housing but in quality/price ratio, nothing to complain about.

Beautiful little paradise away from crowdedness. Nice swiming pool very welcomed on hot days. Free coffee, tea and cocoa. Tasty food. Very clean. The beach at " To the Moon" restaurant it's super. Many thanks Luna to you and to your hard working team for making our staying so good.

Because it's more like a transit hotel in the afternoon might be a bit croweded and noisy but no so bad

Really great, very well -kept facility.The owner is incredibly nice and warm.We were only here for one night.If you like it calm, I would like to stay here a little longer.Great pool.Very close to the sea.The mattresses were firm, but very comfortable and we slept very well.

The only thing I was missing was a small refrigerator, then it would be perfect for us.

The establishment was great, the welcoming and helpful staff sold us the ferry tickets and led us for free to the quay to take the ferry for Koh Tao on tomorrow.The establishment is very well located in relation to the Quai des Ferrys and in a beautiful natural environment near the beaches.The bed was very comfortable.The pool is extra.

Convenient accommodation is not difficult to find. There is a swimming pool. Soap-shampoo is a large bottle.Can be used as actually usedThe general school is a small bottle. Stay 2 nights. There is a cleaning service with a tissue towel to add 2 bottles of water.

No refrigerator in the roomThe blanket is very thin.

Lovely little resort in the middle of nowhere. Really nice pool and you can get dinner there for very cheap. They also offer a free taxi the next day to the ferry port.

Mosquitoes and other bugs are obviously going to get in as it’s a tent, can’t really be helped! We quite liked the lizards in our bathroom.

The establishment is far from shops and restaurants, a means of transport must be provided.I recommend this accommodation for 2 nights maximum

Luna who received us no one very pleasant and smiling.A very quiet place, a parking lot, a very large and very pleasant swimming pool, possibility of renting a scooter.In front of the establishment, a very pretty deserted beach.I advise without hesitation :)

Far outer, but it's definitely worth it!The beach is a dream, the pool is great, we liked the cozy tents very, great.The staff speaks super English and everyone is really nice.If you are on the go with children, definitely go to the Moonshine Resort!

Bon emplacement si l'on souhaite prendre le bateau pour les îles voisines. Logement atypique dans la tente, propre et bien équipé. Personnel accueillant et à l'écoute. Piscine agréable pour un moment de détente ?

It is allegedly a campsite, but the tent where we stayed had air conditioning and a super comfortable bed.The great pool.The beach 2 minutes walk.Water, coffee, has free all day in the dining area.Fantastic.

The bed was VERY COMFORTABLE!! The pool was great and I felt like I had the whole beach to myself:)

No store near...if you need something you'll have to rent the scooter. And Grab will not go there
