BEST WESTERN The Hotel Chequamegon

Beautiful hotel, inside and out. I loved the turn of the century decor and antiques. Used the business center and it was perfect for my needs. Breakfast was very good for us. Location was right off of the main highway but it was very quiet. Right across the street from Walgreens and gas station and close to fast foods and a beautiful park.

We had a queen room which was adequate for us. Thought the price was a little high but we would stay there again.

Good location with a walking path nearby along the lake. Room and bathroom were very clean.

Breakfast was average. Not many options for those who don't eat meat or high carb waffles. Room was too warm and temp wasn't adjustable. No hottub and the pool was taken over by little boys at a hockey tourney. Windows in the room were so small it was hard to enjoy the lake. All in all, not a good value for the money we paid. Disappointing.

This property takes you back in time with its ornate furniture, wall paper and other accents. Absolutely adored hanging out in the parlor watching the sunset. The new restaurant downstairs is delightful and a lovely way to unwind after a day of sightseeing. Enjoyed the pool too although it would be nice to have bigger pool towels but that’s a minor detail. We had an issue with our bathroom and it was taken care of promptly.

Location was great. Breakfast was wonderful. The gentleman running breakfast was kind and very polite. A great employee to have. The deck was a nice place to sit, relax and enjoy the bay view.

The pool area was small and could use a whirlpool. The overall price of the hotel top to bottom was kinda high. Though all the hotels are in town.

The rooms were very well lit and I liked that. The decor is dated but very clean room.

Parking lot view but I paid the lowest rate of $179 plus tax. That rate eems high for Ashland Wisconsin but it was a Saturday night. Also, no food option in the restaurant but that was explained. Very nice welcome from front desk agent.

The dimable over head light and silent ceiling fan. The heater worked well and the pool was just right for my young family.

Other guests would let their doors slam so loud that the bed in my room would shake. It was the most horrible event that happened multiple times especially when I was trying to sleep.

The outside building appearance on the water- very pretty.

One elevator, very average breakfast, ice machine only on one floor. . The rooms are decent but where the lobby is beautiful the rooms are so/so. I paid $290 for one night -not worth it.

The buffet was a good and lot of variety in breakfast. Room was clean

Hotel infrastructure is old-fashioned. The hotel needs renovation when we walk in the room. Floor makes sound. I pay $155 usd, which doesn't justify the service they provide.

I liked the look of the hotel and the lake. Breakfast was good. The server and front desk lady were both excellent

Bed uncomfortable, food from the restaurant was just bad. I mean bad, ribs came out cold and cheese curds were just gross.

Great breakfast, old Victorian inn, leaking shower head but very interesting and friendly place. Not your cookie-cutter inn. Great location with shoreline paths all around.

Sadly the restaurant was closed due to lack of staff

The bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in at a hotel.

It was advertised as having a hot tub but when we went to the pool area, there was no hot tub. Also the refrigerator in our room didn’t cool at all.

Breakfast was good. Lots of variety and well tended to by the hostess.

Bar didn't open until late in the day. Would have been nice to enjoy a drink and look out at the lake mid-afternoon.

Very nice hotel especially if you like to take a step back in time and read about the hotels history. Unique story

Price for Ashland wi a little steep but no competition in area

Jordan was excellent! Ask why we were visiting and made suggestions for our stay. Alison was excellent as we requested an extra night. Thank you for a very relaxing stay.

We enjoyed having breakfast provided each morning. The staff did a great job of keeping everything replenished.

Your website mentioned a hot tub, yet there wasn't one.

Beautiful facilities, very clean, staff was very helpful, and loved the bar at the facility.

the breakfast was wonderful, great coffee and to have actual plates and silverware to use was a plus. i hate disposable dishes!

Comfy bed, breakfast was included and nice toiletries.
